Pipeline

Processing customization
A pipeline is a facility used to transport fluids (such as gas, liquid or gas-liquid mixture). It is widely used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, mining, construction, water supply and drainage, etc.

1. Product Description

Pipelines are mainly composed of pipeline bodies, anti-corrosion protection facilities, hydraulic protection structures, earthquake-resistant facilities, pipe embankments, pipe bridges, and pipeline-specific culverts and tunnels, etc., which are used to achieve long-distance, continuous and stable transportation of fluids. Pipeline transportation has the advantages of large transmission volume, long transportation distance, strong continuity and high safety. It is an indispensable fluid transportation method in modern society.

2. Specifications

The specifications of pipelines vary depending on the type, pressure, temperature and use occasions of the transported fluid. The following are some common pipeline specification parameters:

Material:
Steel pipe: commonly used for high-pressure, high-temperature or highly corrosive fluid transportation.
Plastic pipe: such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), etc., are often used in low-pressure, room temperature and low-corrosive occasions.
Concrete pipe: mainly used for gravity flow pipelines such as drainage and sewage.

Diameter:
The diameter of the pipe ranges widely, ranging from a few millimeters to several meters.
Common small-diameter pipe diameters include DN15, DN20, DN25, etc. (corresponding to 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, etc.), which are suitable for household water supply and drainage, gas transmission, etc.

Large-diameter pipe diameters can reach DN1000 or more, and are commonly used for industrial transportation, urban water supply, drainage, etc.

Wall thickness:
The wall thickness is determined according to the working pressure, material and fluid properties of the pipeline.

For high-pressure pipelines, the wall thickness is usually thicker to ensure safety.

Length:

The length of the pipeline can be customized according to needs, and common standard lengths are 6 meters, 9 meters, 12 meters, etc.

Connection method:
Welding: Commonly used for the connection of steel pipes, with the advantages of high strength and good sealing.
Threaded connection: Suitable for small-diameter pipes, easy to install but relatively poor sealing.
Flange connection: Suitable for occasions that require frequent disassembly or high pressure and high temperature.

Clamp connection: Commonly used for plastic pipes, quick installation and easy maintenance.

Pressure level:
According to the working pressure of the pipeline, it is divided into different pressure levels, such as PN10, PN16, PN25, etc.
Working temperature:
Choose appropriate pipe material and wall thickness according to the temperature of the fluid to ensure the stability and safety of the pipe in high or low temperature environments.
